This is hands-down the BEST comic book being published right now. I wouldn't even consider that statement to be up for debate either, it's as close to a fact as an opinion can possibly be...if that makes sense.
Snyder unfurls more shocking connections between the Court of the Owls and the Wayne family but more specifically...
The Grayson family
Snyder brilliantly begins seeding the path with tidbits of information that allow readers who have been on board since the first issues of the New52 to start putting some pieces together. A line of dialogue from Nightwing #1 (seven long months ago, and written by a completely different writer) now makes sense in light of events in this issue.
This kind of intricate plot weaving across titles reminds me of Claremonts' brilliance in the 80s and early 90s across X-books. I will not be surprised in the least when years from now Snyder is still granting us reveals to clues he tucked away in these books we're now reading. He is truly a master of 'the prestige', and if you aren't reading this, you are missing out on THE BEST THING HAPPENING IN COMICS TODAY. PERIOD.
