It's a shame that Amy Reeder will be leaving this book so soon, as her art is beyond gorgeous, and she compliments J.H. Williams III style so well, that alternating arcs between the two would have been pleasurable for years to come. Ces't la vie, at least Trevor McCarthy is up next on this book, and I personally enjoy his style quite a bit. I guess this book can't do wrong by me art wise.
One problem I see with Batwoman though is that while we are technically on the 2nd arc since the launch of the title, it really is just an extension of the first arc, so for new readers, this book couldn't be more unfriendly.
I have found myself having to re-read previous issues of this book more than once as a reminder of what is going on, so if that's the case for someone who has been with the book since issue #1, you can imagine how hard it would be to just jump on this title.
Hopefully there will be a point following this arc where new readers will be able to join the rest of us who are enjoying this title, and when there is, I'll be sure to let you know.
