I'm not familiar with the history of this title, but I'll be damned if that doesn't make me want to go back and learn more about it. Huge kudos to Marjorie Liu as a writer for knowing her character so intimately that she could pull something like this off. Putting the need for prose and soliloquy aside, Liu lets Phil Noto's absolutely breathtaking art tell the final tale of X-23 (in her own book that is at least).
Again, I have no history with this book (and little with the character), but after how magical this issue was, I'll definitely be adding this series to my list of 'go back and read all of these one day'.
Bravo to this team, I loved this issue, I couldn't be happier that I decided to start now, just in the nick of time.
